Hello everyone!

We are the New Avengers Public Relations team!

There’s quite a few of us, but department heads need to sign off on posts, so that’s who will be introduced.

Let’s get started.

I’m Steven Andros, the Department Lead. Pretty much manage this whole place, but it ain’t that impressive really. We’re a well oiled machine (Unionized machine, thanks to Mr. Shostakov) that is pretty self sufficient. Though I’m overworked and tired, I try to find time for little joys. (He/Him)

Riley hums as he thinks about it, tapping her foot. "I can, but cannot... combine memories. I can allow you to see what is happening in each other's dreamscapes, but I can't combine them." She tries to explain.

Riley offers her hands to the both of them. “You remember how it works?” She says, not wanting to explain it all over again. “Today was a boring work day anyways.”

Riley gives John a little smile, having a feeling this isn’t anything about work before he even said it. “Then what’s on your mind, John?”

John rubs the back of his neck. "I heard about what you can do. That you can... transport people, kinda." He shifts again in the chair. "Can you... help people visit somebody?"

Riley’s eyes widen a little, and she nods, not having expected that to be the reason John is here. “Oh, uhm… sort of?”

He leans forward against the desk, explaining it like she’s had to a million times. “I call them dreamscapes.”

“I can take you into your own mind. fabricate a scenario using your memories. It won’t be entirely accurate, as everyone has biased memories, but it… is usually enough.”

Riley motions for John to sit in the chair right in front of her desk. “It’s just in your head, but it will feel real.”

“It can last as long as I can maintain it, and it won’t hurt. You just might get a headache after.”

"I just... I need to see my brother. One more time." His eyes mist over, and he averts eye-contact.

Riley nods. “I won’t be able to see what you do. I’ll just be here. I’ll put some music in or something, just focus on keeping the dreamscape stable. I won’t hear or see anything you say or do.”

“Your… brother. If you think hard about him. About where you want to be when I start, it will take you there.”

Riley gives him a soft smile, putting her headphones on, before taking her gloves off and offering her hands to him. "Just hold them. And don't let go unless you want to dream to stop."

He thinks about Mikey. He thinks hard about their tree house in the back yard, where they would escape together. He remembers Mikey's face. The way the wood in the tree house would creek under his weight as he got older. The nights they hid up there while their parents fought.

Mike is about as old as the last time John had seen him, in his late teens, almost 20. He was staring out the window of the treehouse, leaned against the wall, but now he's looking at John, a bit of surprise on his face. "...Johnny." He mutters.

Mike just smiles, giving his little brother a hug. "Missed me? I've been right here, Johnny." He reaches up to run his fingers through John's hair. "You're growing it out. And you've got a... beard." He chuckles. "When did you get all big an' shit?"
