The Brik Case is a kickstarter project that will make sure that you donβt have to look at that annoyingΒ illuminating apple logo on the back of your laptop anymore.Β β$35 will get you one along with a bag of 100 1x1 building bricks when they ship this August.β As seen on: kickstarter.com
This supersmooth stopmotion made by Jon Rolph (CheesyBricks) blows my mind. You can feel the tip of the brushes gliding over the Lego canvas. And you can feel the texture of the paint. I feel so autistic after watching this masterpiece. As seen on: youtube.com
Good question by Hillel Cooperman in his TED talk: "Am I part of this group?".Β So let's take a look at all the weird shit that's going on in this subculture called AFOL. We got conventions, basements, weaponry, convenient storage, CAD software, 3D films, fan-art, open-source robotics and much more. Pretty bad-ass if you ask me. So am I part of this? Hell yeah, and guess what; I also get the girls. How does he do that? I don't know. He must have ninja skills. That, and a lot of Lego.

Lego is searching for a sustainable replacement for ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) for a while now. Lego uses more than 6,000 tons of plastic each year. And although Lego is passed from one generation to the next, this is still a lot.Β
Honestly I hate plastic toys, except for Lego! Like a lot of other people, I feel quite some sympathy towards this creative building tool. The fact that Lego just ended their relationship with Shell, gives me hope for the future. βLego is setting a target to use, a sustainable resin in its signature bricks by 2030, replacing ABSβ. I say; make it clap!

Greenpeace pointed out that Lego had connections with theΒ polluting company Shell. They made a cool video (link below) to raise awareness and now Lego decided to cut ties with Shell. This is one small step for Lego, but one giant leap for mankind. We need to turn this thing around and start acting like we care about the future of this world. Thanks Greenpeace.

This sure looks delish! "They're made by pouring liquid chocolate into Lego brick shaped molds and waiting for it to cool. Not too complicated." Since I was a kid, I've been eating chocolate sprinkles on my bread, but this exceeds my wildest dreams. Pure genius.
Thanks to Yvonne for sharing this on Facebook, and for being my favourite 'Brabo'.

Le Cyklop is really dedicated to make the public domain a more enjoyable place. Armed with stencils, spray paint and stickers he goes around the French streets. These parking bollards were transformed into happy little Lego fellars.Β
Thanks to Artisdead for tweeting this, and for making cool stencils.

Why you little brick! Masterbuilder Matt de Lanoy took it upon himself to build Springfield from Lego. You are allowed to look at it... but don't play with it! You know it's true that all adult fans of Lego (AFOL) are like that.
Thanks to Yvonne for posting this on social media, and for her impeccable taste of movies.

"This β70s era spaceman suffers from a cracked helmet and lack of oxygen" Is what Lego has to say about Benny from the Lego Movie. But to me he embodies my childhood and the second-hand, space-themed Lego (from my brother) that I loved so much. The impossible spaceships with the dirty stickers were my pride and joy, and nobody could fly them better then guys like Benny.

Thereβs not much that pisses me off more than a messy desk. So when I saw this I had tears in my eyes of joy. I love that they use this oldskool astronaut minifig, which is my favourite. Thanks to Geert for sending me this picture, and for driving a car with his legs crossed.

Watch this awesome video in the link below! Although I care more about Lego than polar-bears, I realise that there's an important message here. Lego has a partnership with the Arctic-destroying-company Shell, which is a bit weird to me. Greenpeace thought the same and is calling on Lego to end this madness. I think it's a really cool video with a great soundtrack. And the black goo looks awesome, it makes me wanna throw Lego's into my fuel-tank.
Thanks to Ola for sending me this, and for the brown-cheese that he bought.

I'm not a big fan of high heels, let alone wedges. But these Lego heels make stepping on Lego look fashionable. I don't think you can walk 2 feet on these bulky, dangerous looking things though. But hey, since when is fashion ment to be practical? I am now imagining a model that has to stop every two steps on the runway to rebuild her Lego shoes.
Thanks to Sarah for sending me this picture and for the delicious couscous salad that she makes

Seen here is a "a tribute from KitKat to Lego". Instead of cavities in your teeth, they made cavities in the candybar itself. Besides storing all those extra bricks, I don't really see the added value though. But okay, pretty cool, now make me a chocolate fountain with Lego. Thanks to Marcel for sending me this, and for being stronger than a chimpanzee.

This Lego mold, wich was used to create more that 120M bricks, had a great retirement plan. Put up a golden sign and just be pretty. My golden sign would probably say something like; 'retired and retarded after sharing the bed with more than 12 woman'.
