Sometimes it can be a gentle whisper to Him, sometimes it can be crying out and releasing all your pain to Him, sometimes it can be a simple moment of intense gratitude. We serve an intimate God who is right beside us, closer than the air we breathe in. The Holy Spirit will guide you in prayer and even if the words don’t come, know that He hears your heart. You don’t have to be ’perfect’ before Him, in fact He invites you to come as you are.⠀ .⠀ Jesus displays for us the most beautiful prayer in Matthew 6:9,⠀ .⠀ “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. “This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
