In order to better understand life in the Viking Age, I believe wearing Viking clothing in real life situations is a must. Viking clothes were not only made for survival in the harsh climate of Scandinavia, they are also comfortable and practical. Keep in mind that the clothes in this video are not made from handwoven fabrics, so they do appear somewhat different or not entirely historically correct, but for someone who aims for better understanding of the Viking Age, they serve their purpose.
