"Hero Worship" is a series of vector based images I did for a potential skatedeck design line of Daft Punk, Deadmau5 and Skrillex (The Holy Trinity of EDM musicians). The name "Hero Worship" and religious parody concept came from the idol status and enormous fanbase that masked and EDM DJ's such as Daft Punk, Deadmau5, and Skrillex have achieved.

Color/ Mood beats. The story is about Alexsis (a young man raised in the south) who moves to Canada to be with his girlfriend/fiance. He can’t afford to live in the city and do his freelance writing so he lives in a small rural town. One evening his fiance calls in a panic and Alexsis flies out the door to her aid (forgetting he’s running out into canadian brush mid-winter). As he’s driving the winding country road he feels like something is following him. Out of the corner of his eye he sees a creature the size of a truck flanking his car. Distracted he hits a patch of black ice, totals his car and comes to hours later. His car is wrecked, his phone has no service, and he was along in the woods at dusk with whatever had been following him.
