Oh.. well. I’ve been staying home with the kids a lot, especially since Noah’s barely one now and I wouldn’t want to hand them off to some nanny.

What about you, any super powers I should know about? That’s still too long, babe. No, not a monster. Although, I’m sure I’ll be associating you with the Lochness monster more often now. 

I can get kids to fall asleep in under fifteen minutes. Although that won’t be of much use to you. One..syllable.. It’s not that I don’t understand your reasoning- It’s just that Ness and Nessa are more personal nicknames? Like the ones family members and l- other family members call me. 

Oh, alright. Well- as long as you’re doing what you want, I’m happy for you.

That’s fine, I’m sure we can find somewhere fairly close. Yeah, as long as he doesn’t mind of course! If anything, we can head to the art room and see if they can find something they want to do there.

Hmm. Well I leave for Florida tomorrow for a meeting, it’s supposed to be a “retreat” but honestly I’d rather work.

Can you bring your work with you? Whether it’s on a laptop or even hard copies in your suitcase.. As long as you get a little break somewhere.

You’re right about that. Sadly not, I’m rather like Batman than Superman, I don’t have powers but I’ve still got money and good looks. Vanessa’s too long, I’m going to call you Ness. Like that monster in Scotland.

Oh well those are certainly nice to have. Hopefully they’ll serve you just as good as powers would. It’s only one syllable more than your original name for me.. D...o I remind you of a monster?

Maybe when I look back on it I won’t feel so stressed about it, but it’s still there, kind of. Until the whole thing is over, probably.

I don’t remember how I imagined myself when I was younger but you never know, you may change your mind. If you do decide to have children, you’ll understand- along with loving them to death. If not, then.. maybe you’ll find the connection with a younger cousin or something. Do you plan to travel?
