Eulogy for Hinawa

I'm truly so exausted

As i scribe this tragic tale,

As one of us, beloved

Has now walked on through the viel.

Two sons she left behind

One with no tears left to cry.

The other with closure to find

And avenger her, he will try.

Her husband meets his fears

In the smoke of burning firs,

His eyes swell up with tears,

His heart pierced through worse than hers.

Her gardens quickly wilt

Not unlike our peace of mind,

Or the life that we have built

Or our desire to be kind.

When we lost her that night

It was our darkest hour.

We turned to her when we lost our light

Because she was like a sunflower.
