As the mass exodus off of Twitter ensues, I believe now is the time to solidify the VTuber community on Tumblr.
In order to make Tumblr a place of discovery for VTubers, we must band together and work to build our community into a space where VTubers can discover and support eachother. If we all want Tumblr to work for VTubers, we must do our part to make VTubers discoverable!
Why this hashtag?
It is currently the most active hashtag within the indie VTuber community already. #VTuber is a better place for Hololive and Nijisanji fan art than indie VTubers looking to find friends.
Following the Hashtag will put the #VTubers of Tumblr contents onto your dashboard. It will also remind you to browse the hastag on the search page.
We arenโt on Twitter anymore, the algorithm isnโt going to spread the word for us. Here on Tumblr, we are our own algorithm, so if you see a VTuber doing something you believe is cool, reblog it to spread the word. Tumblr is one giant game of telephone. Donโt break the chain!
ย Do you have any tips for new Vtubers? Have you made any infographics, assets, or know of cool programs for VTubers to use? Repost those babies to Tumblr, even if they are years old. The more resources we have here, the easier it will be for VTubers to rely on Tumblr rather than other social media sites for help.

#JPVTuber, ENVTuber, MYVTuber- Different languages and countries have different prefixes, so use these hastags to find VTubers who are speaking a certain language or live in a certain area of the world!
#VTuber Support- A secondary hashtag for VTubers, often filled with advice
#VTuber Uprising- the main support hashtag on Twitter, I see it being used here from time to time too
