Pre relationship:

When Red Velvet met Pastry he actually had faith in her, when she started asking questions of if the witches made him like that,he considered if she actually believed what she was telling him(you know when she was talking about the cakehounds)and if she was willing to learn the truth,all that faith was thrown away after Pomegranate arrived.

After the events of the tower they both had rea curing dreams of eachother and thought of each other regularly,they both tried to ignore the thoughts but of course they got extremely strong.

After leaving their groups they both opted to live in the forest ,one because Red Velvet was feared throughout the land being the cake general,two because Pastry knew she wouldn’t be able to fit in normal society.

They met in the forest by accident and were both surprised to see eachother ,they then apologized to eachother and tried to understand one another and their aspirations (especially with the hounds)rm him

They became friends yet do couple-ly things like holding hands,cuddling,hugging,sleeping together(not like that okayyyy)

Actual Relationship:

When they started dating they got really intimate(that was the lightest way I could put it)they’re actual freaks just not in front of the cakes,yeah they acted like a couple before dating but when they started,they were basically married.

They’re both unexperienced in any type of romantic relationships ,especially Pastry,Red Velvet has a bit more knowledge about it,just never used it.

the cakes(especially chiffon) are basically their children

Years into the relationship:

THEY HAD CHILDREN!!!!!!

They had 6 kids ,the first two are twin boys,the second two are girls who are one year apart,the third who was supposed to be last ,she is way younger than her older siblings,the last is a baby boy.

All of their(I have terrible english skills please look past it💔) children are completely different some have more of Red Velvet’s features,some Pastry.

Both Red Velvet and Pastry have different parenting styles that somehow work nicely together.

Pastry is a gentle parent,she understands that children won’t be perfect ,she is very nurturing,and whenever she’s mad at one she doesn’t always outright say it or yell,she does something worse,she glared at them ,she has different ones that go from “hey! settle down were in public “ to “I’m the maddest at you i’ve ever been”.

Red Velvet is way different,he is a bit more stern being an ex general and all,he can go from a good, calm parent who is slightly more lenient than Pastry to “Drop and give me 20”,Pastry has to remind him to be more nice with them ,she’s really serious about it like “Red Velvet! stop treating them like the cakes” Pastry says.

Despite that they love their kids equally and the same with them

there’s also a bit with her parents who i said i was going to talk about although i haven’t even figured out their names

I also didn’t add her freckles although with her being in the order ,she probably was kept from sunlight to be more reliant on reverend mother and so she won’t think of leaving

The siltkin

the siltkin are cookies made of the dirt of earthbread and they live on the continent Siltzalan.They are known for their ingredients mainly being made of soil and flowers,all siltkin are named after a type of plant,they are also known for the gold streaks in their hair,i’ll get more on that in the next section.

Religion

Reminder the siltkin worship earthbread,they thank earthbread for the birth of their species,they view gods as protectors of earthbread along with mortals.The reason the siltkin have gold streaks is because they have a bit of the gods in them.Another thing in the religion is that magic is an everyday thing,anyone can do it and that is because the gold in their hair is a gift from the gods,they gave it to them for protection .The gold hair is also some times used in ceremonies.

I looked at other st pastry members and even seltzer and menthol don’t have gold streaks,NOR REVERENT MOTHER.In my au shadow sister is a siltkin cookie who was previously imprisoned by the siltkin leaders for using her magic for evil.That explains why she quite literally HUNTS pastry/primrose down,like she literally followed her to the catacombs of silence,she wants to get revenge on her parents for locking her up so she joined the order and quickly became a high ranking sister,other members with golden streaks like missionary may have been taken from their home by force or are the children of them,pretty tragic

The Siltbound War

I’m sure you guys who are paying attention to this au are aware of the enslavement of the siltkin

For those who don’t let me summarize it:

The saint pastry order enslaved the siltkin(Primrose/Pastry’s race/aka cookies made out of earthbread a dirt) because they weren’t made by the witches,they did it in hopes that the whole species would just die from exhaustion .That was until reverend mother decided that she would take Primrose/Pastry in return for the siltkin freedom.Having no other choice they did as they were told,Primrose would have died in the conditions and they knew at least she would be somewhat safe,half of them hoped that she would return even though she’s a continent away.

Oh yeah THERE ON A DIFFERENT CONTINENT/extra facts

1.After Primrose was born the famine ended and the siltkin tribe expanded into an empire

2. The reason Reverend mother took Primrose is because she saw how primrose bought prosperity and she wanted some for the order

3.We all know that earthbread’s main continent is crispía and that there are more(if you don’t then there you go)well the siltkin live on another one called siltzalan meaning “land of silt”

4.There other types of earthbread cookies,although a lot of them were killed during the great flour war,they are still there although they are slowly going extinct
