I get fan service is a part of anime but this is just.. i dunno annoying? Like they didnt think the show could stand on its own? So tits and ass as much as possible.
I would love to see a classic dawn of the dead style zombie story done as anime. I would honestly love if they re did HOTD and just toned down the T&A to like.. normal amounts?
It just bugs me that this had the potential to be such a great series it came out right on the cusp of the zombie craze and it was scary and gory and a unique take on Zombies but they just flubbed it.
And yes i'm aware that its based on a manga and the manga was also full of fan service but it should have been a situation where they took what was good from the source material and cut the pointless bits.
I dunno i just needed to vent because i thought this exact same stuff when i first watched it and i hoped re watching now like 16 years later maybe i was remembering it poorly but no...
