Mezuzah case by Half Moon Workshop (2023).
This was one of my first overtly Scottish Judaica pieces, if I recall correctly. The Celtic knotwork on the mezuzah case incorporates pomegranates (a sacred species in Judaism that carries significant symbolism in Jewish tradition) on top and thistles (Scotland's national flower) on the bottom. I drew the interlace patterns by hand and designed the font for the ש based on Celtic illuminated manuscripts. There's a touch of gold leaf there, too.
This sold years ago, but I've remade it twice upon request. I might make one for myself; I really do love it.
