An examination of weight loss goals
Reasons for wanting it: +I lost weight once before, and due to dietary/nutrition negligence, have slowly gained it back. I want to take it off again, essentially. +Sister's wedding is next year, and I want to look fantastic. Those wedding photos will likely be around for awhile. ;) Reasons I think I might have trouble: +I have hormonal problems. Not sure exactly what the root of the cause is, and still need to embark on a quest to find out. Need to be screened for PCOS and other possible diseases. +It's been tough breaking the habit of grabbing a soda or a monster here and there...eating a cookie or chips. These are not nutritionally optimal. I really shouldn't be consuming them at all, or grabbing food at restuarants/convenience. What was the phrase I heard? You're not fast and cheap, neither should your food be. What I did to push toward my goal...yesterday: 15 minutes skating, 30 minutes running and walking, 15 minutes of yoga stretching. Notice? Hmm. My knee has been bothering me, my butt and lower back are a touch on the sore side. Although, I think that's a good thing. And afterward, after my overall body temperature dropped, I kind of needed to pass out :D Other than this it was pretty good. Plans for today: Gonna do another walk/jog session. Possibly some skating. See how fast I can run a mile without stopping. Continue blogging, perhaps, spruce it up and give it a personal touch. And weigh myself. Disclaimer: I'm afraid to weigh myself. x__o I am embarassed.
