E hates AFO because he thinks he ruined his family. He wants nothing more than for the man to die. He thinks Midoria is too weak.

After AFO is dead he still isn’t happy and

He went to Sheketsu but was expelled because he got with a girl and that’s not allowed. He got into AU by recommendation. Transferred mid year.

He can’t taste anything because his mom used to put cigarettes out on his tongue.

Mommy issues. His mom wasn’t there. She was busy cheating on his dad. She got into a loveless marriage and became bitter. She despises her son because he locked her in this marriage. She became infatuated by AFO and they had a fling. He manipulated her into abusing her son so AFO could use the boy later.
