Chapter 16 of Hear My Hope is up!
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
He climbed the steps leading to the entrance doors and paused at the top. This was it, all he had to do now was open the doors, and he’d be inside.
Inside the place where Kimi died.
Ollie bit his lip, suddenly wondering if this was a good idea. Maybe he should just go home, or phone Charles and ask to meet him somewhere. Maybe join that game of crazy golf.
Chapter warnings: mentions of child death, grief, mild horror
*checks last update* Oof *checks calendar* OOF-
Yeah, I totally forgot to update this last week, haha. And on Friday. I was planning on updating yesterday, but laptop lost connection to the internet and by that time I just decided to go to bed.
Also it's been stupidly hot this past month, I've been dying and struggling to write slightly as using my laptop just makes me warm. Today is seemingly slightly cooler so I might be able to do some today, but it is still very hot.
Funnily enough, the coming weekend is Beaver camp. Thankfully, I do not need to be up early to help set up for it as it's a District one (aka I don't have to be in charge of anything but my little group of Beavers, whoo) and they don't have access to the building until like 1pm on Friday so I don't have to get up early and toil in direct sunlight for hours. I can get up at my normal time and toil in the afternoon sunlight for a few hours, yay!
