One of my favorite things about Pedro in particular is he’s one of these actors who snaps in and out of character … When you say “action,” he’s there, he’s in the world, he’s that guy. Then the minute you turn the camera off, he just kinda lets it go. And he would have our sound guy channel a lot of dance music into his headset, and I just remember that like between takes of these incredibly intense, emotional scenes, he and Sophie would be like, dancing in the middle of the rainforest.

Wednesday, May 13th: Hello everyone, I’m Gemma and sincerely apologise to be asking this but I desperately need some help.

As most of you are already aware, I have been struggling financially for quite some time due to my welfare benefits being revoked, under the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. And due to my mental health and some unfortunate DWP mess-ups, my benefits have been on and off sanctions.

And despite receiving the results of my medical assessment (WCA) in early February, which stated that I have a limited capability for work due to my chronic depression and extreme fatigue, my benefits have been suspended without warning or explanation. I appealed against my WCA and suspension and today, I received the outcome stating that they cannot change their original decision on my medical. 

The decision was based on my capability to move; mobilising, reaching, picking up and moving things and manual dexterity, basically meaning that because I can move around and reach for things, I do not require additional help despite having mental health issues. 

In regards to my welfare application, it has been processed and at the moment, I am waiting for my U.C payment which is due on the 25th.

These past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no income, I’ve been relying on the kindness of others. However, due to quite a lot of late bills and fees, it’s been difficult to stay out of debt. I absolutely hate to keep asking for help but I am honestly at my wit’s end and desperately need some, especially with my rent due at the end of the month.

My goal, at the moment, is £500 to help me get by and pay off my rent. overdue account, as well as helping me to get some groceries delivered as I cannot go to the supermarket, and it would really mean a lot to me if I could get some help.

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Nobody is obligated in any way to donate if they can’t or don’t want to, I know we’re all struggling right now.
