Ambient rather than neofolk, but Leila Abdul-Rauf's Cold And Cloud is dark, moody, beautiful and has a cover painting by Tor Lundvall. What more could you ask for, really?

Damh the Bard's most excellent latest album is, like his other records, available from his Bandcamp store. And he remains the coolest neopagan druidfolkie there is.

Among the neofolkish records I've enjoyed most over the last years, the psy folk of Sproatly Smith comes very high up on the list. And perhaps their latest "proper" album most of all. Really love the mix between trad folk, psy folk and a very neofolkish use of voice samples. 

Traum'er Leben's beautiful album Ursprung is available from Bandcamp, as is their EP Des Lebens Ruf an uns wird niemals enden.
