Yeah, and have you thought about why that is? You think that kid has ever had his boundaries respected in his entire life? Hell, do you think he knows what boundaries are? Gisela certainly didn't gaf about Cassius' boundaries, what makes you think she cares about Keefe's? (And Cassius' has some sort of complex where he thinks he's always right)

I'm not saying this behaviour should be excused, I'm saying it should be called out and used for character growth instead of something to 'burn the bitch' so to speak so he can build healthier relationships with others.

OP this right here is the main point of anyone who has ever used the "Keefe doesn't respect boundaries" argument. I'm not even going to bother debating with you further because you seem to understand that this (bold part of the quote) is not the case in the book series. And as a Keefe anti, I can tell you that is why proper Keefe antis are frustrated with him.

Also I can guarantee you everyone in this fandom is very much aware of why Keefe is this way. That's not even something that needs to be discussed anymore -- we know. You would need unparalleled levels of critical illiteracy to not know that Keefe has trauma and shitty parents and that this has affected his behaviour... because Shannon has hammered that nail so deep into our skulls it's basically part of our grey matter now.

Or maybe people haven't and I read the room wrong. But honestly? I doubt it. Cause istg NO ONE brings up his trauma on Tumblr and even on places like Pinterest it's this sanitised uwu baby shit that makes me want to tear my hair out.

Also his trauma is part of who he is. It explains a hell of a lot of his actions. When you have a traumatized character, conversations around their trauma are going to come up when you're talking about them because, well, that's common sense. If you're talking about tam, you talk about his trauma, if you talk about Sophie, you talk about her trauma (or at least we should....I feel like we don't enough with her but that's a yap for another time) ect ect
