everyone please turn off ‘best stuff first’ in your settings on tumblr so you can support your content creators!

okay I know for the past few days everyone’s already been freaking out about this, but oh MAN it’s so real. I haven’t yet met a blog that isn’t affected by this, no matter how big or small. My own activity stats have decreased by at least 10-15 times it’s surreal. Imagine how negatively this impacts content creators who are just starting out. In addition, a lot of them rely on reblogs/followers to get noticed, to gain interest, earn money and pay their expenses. They need Tumblr to help them put their work out, not bury them alive. So DO turn this feature off if you want to actually see new posts from the blogs you follow, and support them.
