His ears were flat, eyes wide, and he was crouched low enough for his white belly to just about touch the floor beneath the duo.

“Simba,” he whispered in a quivering tone, “y’gotta help me, please, ‘kay? I- I saw some’m in Tweedie’s backyard… it was black n’ white, and its tail was real big- it hollered at me ‘ta get away!”

Tod looked pleadingly up at the cub. “You’re a lion- you’re brave, an’ you c’n roar t’ scare the thing away.” His shaky little body pressed against his best friend’s, at least a bit comforted by his presence. “You’ll help me, right…?”

"Hey Tod!" The lion cub chirped a greeting to his friend, happy to see him as usual. It wasn't until the fox slinked closer to him, that Simba had begun to pick up that something was wrong. He would flick his ears, then crouch low to his buddy's level.

"What's wrong?" Then the quivering fox kit explained what was bothering him. Tod had seen something big that was black and white. Right away, Simba was picturing a zebra. He would hum quietly while picturing the animal in question, but then remembered Tod's note about the animal having a long tail. And zebra's tails didn't appear long, so Simba would shake his head and dismiss that idea.

Simba would give Tod's cheek a reassuring nuzzle, then the lion cub would straighten himself up and bristle his fur. "O'course! Nobody gets away with scaring my friend!" Young lion would reassure his friend, returning the body pressing for a moment. Then giving Tod's cheek one more nuzzle.

"I'll get that animal no problem!" He would reply, with his cocky tone. "Just wait 'ere, I'll make sure they never mess with ya' again!" And off the lion cub went, his golden fur a blur as he raced to Widow Tweed's back yard.

Movie theater etiquette is fucking dead y'all.

Went to see the finale of TA.DC at my local theater, bought my ticket weeks in advance. Two groups of 4 8-10 year olds in each.. no parents with either of them, uh oh. Both groups are talking loudly like they're at home, singing, and randomly blurting out shit for no reason.

They're doing this throughout episode 8 and it gets so bad I leave my seat to get a worker, explain the situation, and hope he does something about it. What does he do? Watches them for a bit while he walks up the stairs to their row. Then when he notices they see him.. he shushes them with 2 fingers.. yeah, that's it. Then he leaves. Kids stay quiet for a few minutes then it kicks tf back up because ofc it does. The group that's furthest away has a kid blurt out "IT'S ME" every single time that [spoiler's] name is spoken by a character. At that point I have had enough (since this is the 3rd time said kid has done this,) turn around and sharply tell them "BE QUIET."

To my surprise.. that got them to shut up. But it should not be my responsibility to teach people how to act at the movies, y'know???? Unfortunately because I had to get an employee earlier (left when we were still on ep 8) when I got back it was THE FINALE and I missed stuff!!!1!! Ugh! Then after the movie ended as everyone was leaving, I was walking down the main hall to head to the bathroom, the group of kids I shushed turned to/recognized me then.. laughed at me? No idea why, didn't bother with them. But I stayed in the bathroom a good while in case if they thought about getting their parents to fight me/try to film me/whatever (personal fears.)
