he was done with an errand he was sent by his mother. it happened that his father forgot to get his lunch before leaving this morning and kanji was sent over all the way to tokyo and give it to him. after that he decided to walk around the city because well it was a sunday and he wasn’t in a hurry to head back. he saw someone familiar. wasn’t he the middle blocker of nekoma?

“should i be cautious? i heard black cats give bad luck.” he teased while approaching the man.

it was typical for kuroo to spend his free time on sunday studying. practice hadn’t been too difficult the past week though, so there wasn’t much school work for him to catch up on. instead of spending the day at home, he had chosen to go out for the day. he had sent texts to some friends to join him, but it seemed like everyone was busy. now kuroo was sitting on a bench, checking his phone to make sure no one had text back. he lifted his head when he heard someone talk and surely they were talking to him ( because who else would be referred to as a black cat ). 

“ Are you trying to cheer me up, because Kenchan has better hair than me. ”

“My roots are showing.” Should she let it grow, or….
