Beach house all the way lol⠀ ⠀ And my client, Brie, would totally agree!⠀ ⠀ Here’s a funny (& inspiring) story about Brie:⠀ ⠀ Brie and I have mutual friends in my home state of Michigan. I’ve been in Florida for 10 years but according to Brie, 2015 was one of the coldest & snowiest winters ever.⠀ ⠀ It’s funny because Brie says that she was happy in Michigan and had never even thought about moving out of state… until the temperatures dropped, the snow piled up and the wind chill fell into the double digits DAILY! Brie’s exact words were: “It was freakin miserable!”⠀ ⠀ In January 2016, Brie messaged me and told me that she set a New Year’s resolution to buy a beach house in Florida and she needed me to help her do it. She said she promised herself she would not suffer through another Michigan winter. I laughed and promised her we would make it happen.⠀ ⠀ Brie had some credit issues and it took her 4 months to get her credit score up to where her Lender suggested. In May, two AMAZING things happened to Brie:⠀ ⠀ 1 – She was Pre-Approved for an FHA loan⠀ 2 – She was approved for a telecommute position with the company she works for (read: She could keep her job and work remotely from ANY location).⠀ ⠀ Brie took vacation time in June to visit Florida (she had never been here before lol!) After a few days of looking at homes, Brie took a day off to hit St. Pete beach. She drove through some neighborhoods on her way back to her hotel in Tampa and found a quiet community on a cul-de-sac with newer homes. She fell in love with the area and asked me to find all the available homes in the area. ⠀ ⠀ Long story short, after 2 showings in her dreamy area she put an offer in on a beautiful pool home 10 minutes away from the beach. The offer was accepted and Brie closed on the home in August 2016 and became an official Floridian before winter hit! ⠀ ⠀ We did it!⠀ Resolution accomplished!⠀ ⠀ Brie is loving her new home and anytime I hit the beach in St. Pete I stop by for some girl chat & giggles.⠀ ⠀ Moral of the Story: Life’s a beach, let me help you buy a home close to it ;)

#MotivationMonday⠀ ⠀ What motivates me? My lil family! My hubby and daughters are my World and everything I do, I do for them. ⠀ ⠀ Walking away from the Corporate world to pursue my dreams of becoming a Real Estate Entrepreneur was scary but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Growth & expansion is uncomfortable but so is being broke & down and out. ⠀ ⠀ I have a dream life I envision for my family and its far from mediocre (in my Richard Sherman voice). ⠀ ⠀ A life where: My girls want and need for nothing. They attend college with the college fund already set aside for them (read: not take on debt to go to college). They get to see the world and have multi-cultural experiences.⠀ ⠀ I inspire my husband to pursue his dreams because I pursued mine and now I’m winning. We get to enjoy lavish vacations and spend quality time together.⠀ ⠀ You know that Drake line: “Everybody dies but not everybody lives.” I set an intention to live a full life. To travel the world, to explore different cultures, to enjoy the finer things life has to offer. #YOLO! ⠀ ⠀ I’m starting a non-profit to give back to the causes that matter to me most. I give more every Sunday at church. I help the less fortunate. ⠀ ⠀ I help my clients go from frustrated renters to happy Homeowners, who build wealth for their families. ⠀ ⠀ I say all that to say, that a mediocre job making mediocre income is playing small.
