As someone who never had a proper relationship before an “almost relationship” is the only thing I have ever experienced. It always started as two best friends slowly falling in love with each other but never enough to call it love. It always ended with one of us getting tired of the other and leaving without saying anything. It’d start harmless and end like a storm. The last person I met, lives miles away from me. We only got to know each other for three days but those three days felt like an eternity. I never clicked with someone so fast and so strong as I did with him. As I left, I thought we’d keep in touch. But it never happened. We never happened. So I’ve sworn to myself, that whenever I come across someone new, I’d always make sure it won’t waste my time, as time is the only thing left for me to give.

“Almost”… that’s the only word I can find for you and me, always one step from everything. The almost three words, the almost kiss, the almost date, the almost chance of a happily ever after. You are the one thing I will forever regret, not because of what happened but because of what didn’t.

That’s when you know you’ve found somebody special. When you can just shut the f*ck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence.

I always wish for you to find me

True intimacy is more than fooling around with somebody you’re attracted to. I want to share myself with somebody who will press her hands through the surface of my skin, curl herself up inside my soul and say, Here, this is who I am.

One of the best lessons you can learn in life is to master how to remain calm.

You cannot convince people to love you. This is an absolute rule. No one will ever give you love because you want him or her to give it. Real love moves freely in both directions. Don’t waste your time on anything else.

Give. Even when you know you can get nothing back.
