The year, inbetween highschool and leaving for brazil, Hinata stays in Miyagi to train.
He is bursting at the seams, frustration is bubbling in his veins, tickling at his fingertips. And he has to move, go somewhere.
So he goes.
He finds himself cycling along his old school commute and the familiarity of it all sweeps him down a trip to memory lane of his final year in highschool.
Can the cure to his restlessness be found in the past or will the memories break his spirit for good?

Hello! I've been working on this comic for quite some time now and it's finally time to start posting it! The comic, as the name (and cover art) suggests, is inspired by a song called The Moon by The Microphones :) The story kiiiiind of got away from me a little so in the end, it's a pretty loose interpretation but I definitely recommend listening to the song, to get into the mood of the comic if you're into that! Also im very much a noob when it comes to digital art, so because of that there's quite a lot of inconsistencies both with the art style and just the general quality. Despite that I hope you enjoy! I'll try to get the other parts up as soon as possible :)

If you made it here I am so glad you paid attention to my story! This was my first long(ish?) comic I've EVER drawn so I'm so proud of myself for finishing it. I have kind of a weird relationship with creating stuff, whenever I'm drawing for someone else I'm always worried about every little detail but this comic I did for myself. And whenever I'm doing stufg for myself i always adopt this "it's good enough" attitude because I just want the thing to be finished already 😭 Working digitally was definitely a challenge I didn't anticipate so that plus my own carefree attitude let to the fact that I'm not entirely happy with some panels or even whole pages turned out :( but at the end of the day it is my first comic so it's okay if its a little bad, maybe it even adds to the charm a bit? Also the thing with drawing your own comic I've found out is that it's really hard to see whether the pacing is okay or if the panels are flowing nicely. Because I already know what I WANT to convey, it's challenhing to grasp if the average reader can get that idea from what I've put out, if that makes any sense. IF you've managed to read this far into my ramblings I would LOVE to hear your thoughts or feedback of the comic! I have my asks open too, if youd prefer to do that anonymously. I won't post them without explicit permission either :) All kinds of critisisms are also very much welcome, I would love to improve however I can! Nishinoya: Hinata! Kageyama! The sauna is ready!
Hinata: We're coming!
Hinata: Wow! The lake looks amazing!
Nishinoya: Come in
Nishinoya: Here's the dressing room area. Take off your clothes and leave them here
Nishinoya: Kageyama! What are you doing?
Kageyama: Putting on a swimsuit?
Nishinoya: Haha, actually, you go to a sauna completely naked!
Hinata: *tirsk*You didnt know Kageyama?
Kageyama: How should I have known!
Nishinoya: haha it's okay, it's okay. Let's go!
Nishinoya: First we need to wash up! We need to fill a bucket with cold water first. The water comes from a container outside thats filled up with water from a well. Then we put hot water from the kiuas on the top of the bucket. Then pour the water over you with a ladle! Like so! After washing up we'll sit down and throw warm watwr on the stones! athe sauna will heat up with water vapor!
Nishinoya: After youve properly warmed up, to heighten the sauna experience, we'll go outside and dip into the lake!
Nishinoya: Your turn now!
Hinata: Eek! The water is freezing!
Nishinoya: Don't worry, you'll get used to it!
Hinata: Aah that's true! It's already starting to feel better.
Hinata: Haa haa, Kageyama's too chicken to come!
Kageyama: I'll show you who's a chicken! You haven't even dipped fully yourself!
