this might come very suddenly for some of you, but it’s something me and admin tally have been discussing for a bit. we’ve both become incredibly busy with uni, and so we’ve decided to take a short hiatus. In this time we’ll be able to revamp and work on some of the behind the scenes stuff we just haven’t had the time for.

for the time being, we will unfollow everyone so that when we come back, everyone will get a fair chance for (re)joining our group. a fresh start for everyone!

task #003 - spooky scary skeletons

for our third task, we would love to see what your character will dress up as for halloween! will they go all out with glitter and glam? maybe something sexy? maybe something really scary? or did they just grab a bed sheet an cut some holes in it?

you can do this in a simple description with photos linked.

or you can do it in a moodboard, or even a simple photo set of certain details of their costume with or without a description underneath. doesn’t have to be fancy at all.

feel free to be creative with this. you can add things about your character that no one knew about them. why this costume? are they dressed up as a someone/something they are a fan of? do they like halloween? tasks are for developing your character and letting others get to know them, so feel free to add as much information as you want.

we would prefer it if you have read the books and are familiar with them, but if you haven’t, then that’s okay. we had a few members before who know nothing about the pjo universe and read about it on wiki. if you need any help learning about it, just let us know.

hey! i’d say we are welcoming for both new members as in new in our group, and new to rp’ing in general. most of our current members are pretty new to the group, and we’ve had multiple members who were new to roleplaying. one of the things we think is most important in an rp is being welcoming, so i’d say you have nothing to worry about!

event #002 - happy halloween

—— CAMP ANNOUNCEMENT

the annual halloween festivities will be held on the 31st of october. there’ll be activities for both younger campers and older campers.   - during the morning decorations will be put up around camp, lead by the apollo and athena cabin but any campers are welcome to volunteer to help out. cabin counsellors/campers are responsible for decorating their own cabin with their siblings.   - from noon till two pm, young campers will be able to carve pumpkins at the arts and crafts building, lead by older children of demeter and persephone.   - during dinner a best costume competition will be held. voting is possible all throughout the day. votes will be collected by cabin counsellors, who will turn them in to chiron at the end of the day.   - like every year, there will be a maze inside the forest, created by children of hecate, athena, hephaestus, deimos, phobos and hermes. it’ll be filled with illusions, traps, and monsters. therefore this is only for campers who are 16 or older.   - younger campers can go trick or treating around camp, or they can attend the halloween movie night at the big house, featuring movies such as hocus pocus, the addams family and nightmare before christmas.   - after midnight there will be a movie night for campers over 16, featuring movies such as a quiet place, the conjuring, and the babadook.
