🌓 First Quarter Moon (take action)- when you face obstacles, do not waver. It’s a time for pushing forward.

🌔 Waxing Gibbous Moon (refine and hone)- observe and align your hopes with the universe. Momentum is building.

🌕 Full Moon (harvest endeavors)- a time to harvest the intentions and wishes of the past moons.

🌖 Waning Gibbous Moon (introspect)- turn inwards, think about your goals and be grateful.

🌗 Third Quarter Moon (release and let go)- let go of the habits that bind you and do you harm.

sharp teeth in fragile skin

a whispering

remember me?

the one who burns?

right down to the bones

I have already made soap with

the ashes of her

my daughter self so shiny

in the dew of spring

hands like pink tulips

clasped across her breast

I am the urn of her joy

bronze armor braced

against the jaws of night

empty and

I find hollow screams of the sea caught inside their shells, the sandy shore awakened, pale and white to the dying, fighting light of the twilight sun that sinks, splits the world into two tearing circles. stars that prick pins and needles into my skin. and, time that slinks into unending grief, that comes  wave after trembling wave. that never lets me forget, a piece is missing from inside me since you left.

To our fairytale love, I thought

Alas, we turned out to be

A free verse, poorly written

Mundane in spirits, scribbled

As a doodle on the back

Of a notepad, errors of the

Manner, lacking crisp grammar

We turned out to be the

Leisure of a nocturnal poet...............
