i've been seeing this lovely little trans spider (wo)man trend on here, and had an idea for it:

when petra parker first goes on HRT, she begins realising that [insert love interest] just looks... really tasty?

a quick google search reveals that female spiders eat their mate after having sex.

some spiders manage to get around this by binding the female in webs, which would be fine, but there's no way that "innocent civilian petra parker" would plausibly have any material strong enough to restrain spider woman.

so... either she's gotta break up with [love interest], never have sex with them, or reveal she's spider woman

I love Petra Parker :3 I have more I’ve found but I’m limited to include 10 images. I know no one is gonna see this but I’m doing this anyway as I love this trend sm and while I’m still not really in any situation to come out as trans I’ve always loved spider-man so the spider-woman trend is a wonderful source of hope in a life where I don’t have a lot.

The only small issue I've had with the recent Spider-Woman trend is that, since most people don't read the comics, they make Petra sound too sheltered/insecure/withdrawn. Where's her snark? Her bite? Her charming asshole-ery??

They also make JJ sound too..."good" for lack of a better word. Jonah is a dick with a heart of silver, maybe gold if you spitshine it. Even if he IS fully supportive, he's still an ass.
