I think there is a bigger conversation to be had about why the madness community is so okay with mass murder, gore and guts, but the moment you flesh out an already sick world by idk, making the characters more realistic in terms of bad / toxic traits you get called vile names,,

It's not a stretch to say hank, a merciless mass murderer would be a bit more sadistic, cruel and fucking creepy when it comes to what he does, how he interacts and how he goes about daily life in the hell hole that is Nevada.

Hank, sanford, deimos, and others are constantly surrounded by death, gore, blood, and other fucked up scenarios, but the moment you portray how those environments actually take affect and cause harm to those inflicting and being damaged you get 45 call out posts calling you weird, they are allowed to do uncomfortable things and be uncomfortable characters, their world provides no comfort outside of tightnit groups.
