if i think any deeper/further about this movie i always make myself cry and its weird cause its never happened to me before

i do enjoy coltland twins au but at the same time its not something i cherish probably because my own brother didnt really put in any effort to connect with me (truth be told we are also 7 years apart)

in my own mind when i grow attached to characters it is not a “i want to be with them”, closer to “i want to be them” but not exactly; i think of them as sort of a twin (funny taking the above into consideration), kind of ‘the same soul taking care of itself’ and i want to bet this ties into how i’ve only been vulnerable with myself and its kinda like that. I imagine two beings curled up and sleeping together, like a yin yang, like two sleeping pups. dont ask me how ive ended up here

i’ll try my best, i’ll try and will healthier, i’ll transition, i will get into and study engineering, i’ll try anything that comes my way and work. i will become an astronaut, and it sounds a bit childish/corny/cringe but i want to dream big, since i didnt know until a few months ago what i wanted to dream. im scared of death (of the nothingness and the pain), but not of space.

does anyone else feel like this because its the first time its been this bad i dont know what to do to fix it

found this out after counting every row on the parts and doing a bit of math but frankly its a bit weird to not mention because else personally i tend to start with a knit row unless specified

looking for a bit of help/advice (for next time)

i finished knitting grace’s fox cardigan from project hail mary and i have problems with puckering and tightness around the shoulders and underarms, where i did my decreases. the pattern says that decreases more than 2 should be cast off at the beginning of the row, but many if not all my decreases were at the end of a row

since casting off normally also uses the active yarn it would mean that id have a gap between my yarn and the live stitches when trying to start my next row

so i decreased as normal (k2tog/p2tog) and that really tightened my work and made it hard to seam panels together (finishing cast offs were also really tight) which then gave me these puckers and bumps

fellow knitters, what can i do??? i know i cant do anything to this specific item, but i plan to knit another in the future (since i rather used this one to learn and practice techniques-its cheap acrylic n wool yarn🙃) and i dont want these issues happening again.

call that bridging the past (good omens has been with me for at least 3 years) the present (project hail mary fixation) and the future (college)
