The shots didn't hit anywhere near them- yet. Unfortunately, those stupid mercenaries would probably wisen up on their aim if they kept their distance. In order to escape, removing the ones stationed at the door would be the quickest way out, even with another person.
As much as Chell was perplexed by the sudden appearance of Tanree, he was probably innocent- upon seeing the pickaxe, she narrowed her eyes slightly. Innocent enough, then. She wasn't sure what he might be, but he vaguely reminded her of someone...
"Gunman are coming fron upstairs. Do not get shot. We will take care of the two men at the exit and leave." She relayed, settling into a crouch. "Run fast and ignore everything unless it is in front of you."
She snapped her teeth. "We'll run...now."
[ Tanree was certainly an innocent person, hell he didn't think he'd have to fight or kill anyone if he just kept his head low... However, that's wishful thinking. Given the situation he finds himself, it's better to know how to defend yourself rather then be a sitting duck. ]
[ The troll quietly nods at the instructions and does his best to peek from where they are now. ]
[ However, it seemed he didn't have a lot of time. He saw the crouch as a sign to get ready, and thusly steered himself... ]
[ ... to start running. The next person besides this stranger that Tanree sees is gonna get a face full of the blunt side of the pickaxe. Yeah. Good plan. That'll either knock em out or distract em long enough for him to just keep running. ]
The teleportation is sudden, and in a flash, the Batter's armed, ready in case the grey spectre-like creature has sprung a trap. But the bitter cold of the tundra hit, and he was disoriented - if only briefly.
With a simple nod in Tanree's direction, the Add-Ons flew towards the open cabin door. As Omega passed him, it slowed, and the Batter grabbed onto the Add-On and let himself be deposited in the warmth of the cabin.
It is very warm in there and it seems lived-in to some extent. He had no idea how Zacharie used to live, but off-handed comments here and there, from the merchant and the Guardians and his son, had given him the impression that this was not where Zacharie used to live. If only because it wasn't as much of a mess.
[ He didn't really blame The Batter for being on the defense once they teleported. The two of them only just met after all, so a laid out trap was most likely not out of the question. Tanree would've reacted similarly. ]
[ He supposed he has his guard down this time around because he has an out, and weapon on hand if that out wasn't an option. He's.. safer then he would've been. ]
[ The cabin was a bit dark, and it was certainly lived in. On the shelves and table had various knickknacks, one example being a plush of a pig that sits on a table in the middle of what can be assumed to be a living room. ]
[ Tanree went over to the fireplace across the room to light the fireplace with a lighter, some twigs, and a bit of paper. As the fire was kindling, he went to get the logs fed in slowly. ]
sā¦.. [ He breaks the brief silence between them, feeding a log into the now roaring fire. ] yā¦u're frā¦m thā¦se zā¦nes, right? dā¦ yā¦u knā¦w ā¦f zacharie?

It really wasn't. He wasn't exactly sure how he came into possession of it - or really, even the shopping mall with that unremovable cat food ad. One moment he was stumbling around in Zone Two, the next Japhet was asking him to "Please deal with my screaming subjects in the theme park, it is quite excellent, but it is doing the opposite of relaxing them!"
Or so that was how it felt for him. In truth, the entire history of his association with the theme park was an oddity: a trick of the programming and also some actual backstory he wasn't too sure about. He also suspected that someone never really gave it too much until now.
That aside,

[ He nods at the simple answer, not wanting to pry too much into Zacharie. That'd be rude, after all, and so far he likes to think they're at least on somewhat friendly terms. After all, the masked man hasn't.. immediately attacked him, which is unexpected for this troll. ]
[ Then again, he seems to be human, so it's not unreasonable for a lack of violence to be the case. Especially with Tanree's aura... ]
[ Speaking of Zacharie, as he went on to list the rides, Tanree's visible excitement grew. ]

Chell had been racing through the warehouse at a very reasonable speed, jumping down to the lower levels before the shouting upstairs got too loud and weaving through the shelves. Glancing behind her, the only warning she got about the person in front of her was the faintest warning his from her snakes before skidding and nearly tripping over Tanree.
"Who the-..." a quick once over as she righted herself to look him over. Yeah. She had no idea who this was. "Let's move, quickly!" He looked out of place, and with as much weird shit as there was already in Mistvale, she wasn't just going to leave him and- Chell pulled both of them down as gunfire rang out.
Heavy footsteps could be heard from upstairs. They were running out of time, and fast.

[ He heard the footsteps once they were in closer range, and he quickly turned to see the new stranger in front of him. Well, ok, they look.. somewhat human, but --- ]
[ Oh! Ok, Tanree was suddenly pulled down, and before he could vocally protest, he heard the gunfire. This immediately has him very quiet and wide eyes, fumbling to put his device away to instead swap to his pickaxe. Not only a good tool, but his own personal weapon of choice. ]
i - um. fuck, ā¦k. [ He looks over to her, with worried eyes full of questions. ] where are we gā¦ing tā¦ get away frā¦m.. that?
[ He wasn't sure to make of this new situation, all he knew was that there's guns involved, and he'd have to focus on making sure he stays alive. ]

...it was very awkward, so in lieu of standing around in silence, the Batter decided to hover a bit more closer to where Tanree was fiddling around with his device.

For an entity professing to be less-emotionally developed than a rock he sure displayed quite a lot of curiosity.

[ He fiddles with the device before.. pausing and tensing up. Tanree could feel the man pretty close to him, and he makes the choice to just, take one tiny step away. He's not gonna completely back off, he does need him relatively close.. Though cmon, he needs personal space. ]

[ This would be a somewhat familiar feeling for The Batter, what with sudden transportation and such. In a brief flash, one second they were at the cherry groves, and the next moment they're in.. what appears to be a tundra, with a clear opening. Within in that open, The Batter could see a small cabin, as Tanree gestures to follow him to come inside. ]
