gentle reminder: I hope you can feel free to be yourself and stop being embarrassed over everything you say or do. and stop trying to avoid being seen as cringy or embarrassing, and just live freely. the only way to not be “cringy” is to be an empty shell of who you are. a lot of the time those words are used when someone who tries their best, or is passionate about something. those aren’t traits to be ashamed of and I’m sorry if people led you to believe that. be less judgemental to yourself and don’t underestimate the good and kindness in people. there will always be judgemental attitudes especially online, but there are lots of genuinely kind people and strangers in the world. those are the people you should pay attention to! and you can always make the world nicer for yourself and people around you. as hard as it is, assume good intent in people unless proven otherwise. let yourself unlearn the judgemental thoughts you learned from others, and try to be that person who makes other people feel free to be themselves too. let yourself enjoy life without always caring whether someone’s watching you and laughing or judging. who cares if they judge you. are they even important to you? are they good people who you should aspire to be like? so do things that make you happy. be yourself even if it’s a stereotype people like to make fun of. say things from the heart. try your best. find a good role model. love things fully and on purpose. wear clothes you love, decorate your room with your favorite aesthetics, live like you’re in a movie, and stop caring! in the end you’ll have fun and have good memories to treasure. you’ll be happier and you’ll attract people who feel the same carefree way toward life, and you’ll inspire others to be themselves too. 💛
