Office lifehack: always customize your flash drives so there's no mistaking they're yours.

Big cameras like this can be a little daunting. I’ve been using cameras like this for years, and it takes me two or three shoots before I’m really comfortable with them. But for something as simple as an event shoot, when all you really need to worry about is clean audio and decent exposure, highlighting the few buttons and ports the operator will need is all that’s really necessary.

I took the girls to the park the other day and shot this lil’ video on my iPhone.

The Robertson Library at UPEI has launched another amazing archive site. Bowing Down Home features video, audio, and essays of and about traditional fiddling in Prince Edward Island. I had the pleasure of putting this video together for its launch.

Dr. Ed MacDonald and I filmed this last summer, but I haven't shared it much. 

A few photos from Saturday's shoot along the North Cape Coastal Drive, which included two fishing boat excursions and a snack at Samuel's Coffee House in Summerside.
