He makes it a point to mention that he lets you stay only because of the food you bring with you, but his music sessions are always better with you around. A little less stressful, a little more peaceful.
On nights when its pouring down like the end of the world is near, and his mind cannot focus, he drops whatever he's doing and admires the way you sleep on the large couch of his studio.
Despite his better judgement to complete the piece he's working on, he often finds himself easing into your embrace, draping a blanket over the two of you while you press your cheek to his chest, his heart running a mile per hour.
