Sometimes artists hesitate to show some parts of their process. A drawing that is not perfectly finished may end up at the bottom of a pile of papers. There is a lot of insecurity, expectations and anxiety involved in a simple drawing. Unfortunately, the image you see on the internet does not always convey everything the artist felt with each stroke of the pencil on the paper.
