             “---- Yeah, I have heard about that, and it needs to stop.”

            he’s been pretending that what happened DIDN’T.  it makes it easier to live his days IN and OUT ,  but he’s already PANICKED and crashed SEVERAL times.  the GUILT of what he’d done STINGS in his memory ,  but he sucks it up.  foggy’s HERE.  foggy’s not YELLING at him  (   yet   )  and he can ATTEMPT to be civil.  attempt to FIX what HE broke.                                     ❝  i -  yeah.  what information ,  exactly ?  ❞

             While he wasn’t YELLING, it didn’t mean he still wasn’t upset ---- it was just easier for him to work with out an argument ( even though that would be inevitable in all reality ) . It wasn’t the best of decisions, but it was better than anything else he could have thought of.                “ A case that I have been working on; something you would have                    honestly looked into.” If things were different, “ Some kid that’s                    been found at the sight of several murder victims.” A pause, “I                    thought it would be something you could look into.” If you were not busy.

“Yes, I am Ruusan Novhret. Are you looking for Tar’ika?”

     “Yeah, I thought I would take her out to lunch. Well, that, and not stab her.... again. This Hotel does things to you.”

“Well, it’s not so bad, is it? At least you’re fairly certain nobody’s going to murder you here because they need you to defend them.”

           “For the most part.” He stated bluntly, “I still don’t know WHY I am here, but it seems I will have to deal with that won’t I? Anyways, I need to know about the living residents, and what possible crimes they could commit.”

                                   “PEACE was never an OPTION.”

“I—-I suppose—-I suppose it’s alright.” she mumbled softly. “Though Revan and Maz aren’t happy in the least about it.”

     “I don’t expect them to me, Tari.... Care to start again at least in this whole... relationship of ours?”
