now i suppose there's like 3 types of labels? idk im just saying shit but there's the who you like labels (like gay lesbian all that) and then the who you are labels (trans and non binary umbrellas yk yk) and then the how much you like (which i would consider the aspectrum to be a part of!!!)

i'm a big fan of the setting of undertale (and how that directly influences the expectations of its multiverse too). i really HATE looking at a FICTIONAL story and having it be very similar to our world i'm sorry i believe that since none of these worlds we make are real that they should be as unique and whimsical and unimaginably cool that we can possibly think of :3 so in my eyes, i dont really think monsters would really... give a shit about stuff like gender and sexuality LOL. IDK to me its just like monsters are a different society from humans entirely and these labels that we have are ones that apply to OUR human society. monsters would probably not abide by all of them because they have a different culture and worldview and all that. in my eyes i think monster society you are who you wanna be and you can love whoever you want and there's little to do with gender binary and the such that we humans have (also because i think that having plots surrounding around like societal views on LGBTQ+ stuff like OMG FORBIDDEN GAY LOVE is... kinda boring sorry kill me for it but i rather have a story be focused on anything else if it HAS to be a love story) (also also if you want a more in depth analysis of something adjacent to what i said then read this reblog chain from awesome moot tis very interesting and probably something close to what i imagine)

basically what i'm saying is: i think the spectrum of how much you feel attraction is much more important to monsters than who it is for. and considering that i think sans undertale himself is The aroace ever and sanses are the predominant variants in the multiverse (even if theyre not directly connected to mr. undertale hinself) i think most sans aus are SOME flavor of aroace. NOW characters like cross who to my knowledge grew up around humans would probably have views that align closer to our own society but especially for sans continuations (like mtt) all those fuckers are aro to the ace
