Bone shipmodel of (USS) Chesapeake , made by Prisoners of War c. 1814 or 1815, 1,44 m long © the middle one was made by me, the rest was made by the International Maritime Museum Hamburg

It is always assumed that this model is USS Cheasapeak which was captured by HMS Shannon. The legend says that the imprisoned crew made this model for the widow of Captain Lawrence.
