In some marriages (like mine) it is the wife who issues the orders a d the husband who must obey them without backtalk, or sass. In most marriages with traditional roles however, it is the husband who wears the pants and the wife who wears the panties and answers to her husband. Otherwise, roles become confused and can lead to conflict in the marriage. IMHO there MUST be a return to patriarchal marriages (or matriarchal mzrriages if that arrangement is best) and corporal punishment should return to marriages to maintain order and discipline.
