hey guys, long time no see ! i’m writing this post right now just to let you all know that i’m back on tumblr after about a year of inactivity. i’ve been spending the past few months on twitter drawing mainly mcyt/dream smp fanart and i’ve decided to come back to tumblr and share that art here as well! 

unfortunately that does mean that this blog is going to be inactive for good as i’ve moved to a new blog. if you liked my art or you like the dream smp (or both), then you’re in luck and you can find me on my new blog, @nxpkinn​ ! i am also still on twitter under the same @ if you want to follow me there as well

my art has improved a LOT these past few months in my humble opinion so it’d be a shame if you missed out. i’ve been experimenting with a completely new, lineless style in ms paint of all programs and i think it has allowed me to improve really quickly and make some absolute BANGERS (shown in the collage below)

as someone who is pretty deeply invested in fandom things and who gets a lot of fandom jokes and stuff (as well as reading my fair share of fanfic, sometimes ironically and sometimes not), there's no way i wouldn't be doing the same for my own fandom

like we all have it pretty good right now not having to worry about content creators looking at all of our gross weird fandom shit cause they just kinda chill and do their own things, but me? oh no i'd see EVERYTHING.

i would 100% read fanfics about myself or the things i create, i'd read as much fanfic as i could and i would 100% talk about it! nobody would be safe. not a lot of content creators use fandom-heavy sites like tumblr but, as you can see, i'm already here baby!! i'd be lurking the tags on here, i'd be reading the shit on ao3, there would be no place safe from my eyes

my fandom would be like "oh shit i hope she doesnt see that weird meme post that's going around on tumblr about vore or something...... that'd be sooo awkward" and i'd already be 3 steps ahead and probably tweet something about it bitch!!!! you can't hide that from me!!!

on one hand the fanbase would probably like it cause i'd be interracting with them so much and so personally, but on the other........ they'd have nowhere to hide their weird fandom shit. you can't hide it. i will find it and i will acknowledge it and ya'll will just have to simply exit the kitchen if you can not handle my heat

god bro i wanna make a dream smp animatic so bad and you know what i just might give it a go

yet in order for me to fulfill my fanart drawing desires i have to reinstall my tablet driver and firealpaca and everything cause im on a new laptop

AND i have homework that needs to get done so doing the prep for my tablet to work seems like an extremely good candidate for procrastination right now

it also doesn't help that i haven't taken my meds yet

that i have to actually re-do my layout??

if there's anything i've learned throughout my 12 years of schooling it is how to bullshit an essay so i'm gonna whip something together by the end of the day but oh boy am i gonna HATE doing it!!!

but any day after that, so long as i take it consistently every day, i notice it less and less

like the first day i can literally feel exactly when it kicks in and i get minor side effects like a lil shaky but then the next day it doesnt feel like i took it at all

the only difference i can feel when that happens is that it's just easier to keep my focus and switch tasks, which is still good, but it seems wayyy watered down than the first day taking it

anyone else have this?? does it mean i need a higher dose?? i feel like that's probably what it means but idk

i've honestly been thinking about just "rebranding" this blog to something else and continuing to post because this blog has the most followers out of all of my blogs ever. i still very much love thomas sanders and the sanders sides fandom/series as a whole, but my ability to post new content/draw new art for it has kinda gone down the drain this past year.

i don't know what i want this blog to become quite yet, for right now it's just me shitposting and posting about personal stuff in my life. i'll probably talk about the new asides episode when it comes out along with any other future episodes as i'm still following the series and very interested in where thomas and co. decide to take the story, i just don't have enough interest or motivation to run an entire sideblog dedicated to nothing but sanders sides anymore

if you followed me originally for sanders sides content, feel free to unfollow if you'd like considering i will probably only be posting about it sparingly from here on out. there are so many amazing people and creators in this fandom that make incredible fanart and write fanfics for you to enjoy and that definitely deserve a follow if you were here for that :)

that being said, i'm definitely not going anywhere anytime soon. i really want to be more active on tumblr and start posting art again because i haven't really drawn much of anything since quarantine began and i feel like i'm losing this skill that i've worked for so many years to get better at. i feel like i was steadily improving my art, mostly to the credit of this blog and the sanders sides fandom, and now that i haven't drawn i'm forgetting how to draw entirely. and then when i do draw, i feel like i can't post it here if it's not sanders sides related.

so hopefully switching things up around here and rebranding this blog will help me get back into the swing of things with my art and will eliminate those made-up rules on what i am or am not "allowed" to post here. still not quite sure what to rebrand to, but i'll probably figure something out soon.
