There’s a certain magic in a rest stop on the side of the freeway. So much so that I’ll make it a point to stop at almost every one I pass while traveling. They’re like little surreal alternate dimensions where you can just stop for awhile watch the cars go by, watch the people come in and out of the little building, and think about how they’re all going somewhere. It’s that commonality that you share with them that intrigues me. Something else I’ve notice when driving alone and stopping at a rest stop is that you or at least I feel this serenity, almost as if nothing in the world can bother me. My stress melts away you’re just in that momentous your adventure and that’s all that matters. So next time your on a road trip stop at a rest stop and have a mild adventure of your own.

Ok so its been awhile since I used this site and with good reason. I started using this when I was a young college kid and I didn’t really know much about the world. And to some extent I still don’t know much about the world, however there is one think that I think I know for sure. That is that I know that I don’t know much about the world around me. I can’t quite put it into words just yet but what I hopefully plan to do with this blog is spew out my thoughts on conversations I have with people, my thoughts about life, science, faith, politics, history, really anything that interests me. I really can't get more in depth without rambling on and on about things so I am going to leave this here for now, and give myself time before I post more personal thoughts.
