Many people we love are feeling anger, fear, frustration, and grief. These are unnerving times, and it wouldn’t feel honest to post joy without acknowledging that reality. Our form of activism is joy activism. Dancing in public, in front of people we don’t know, is an act of courage and resistance. Our action immediately breaks the social norm. Movement is how we stay connected to our bodies, our community, and our shared humanity. Choosing to move together, to gather in solidarity, to be visible and audacious in our expression. These moments remind us of the power we hold as a collective body. Movement is how we meet fear with presence, channel it into courage, and choose community over isolation.
