This is my husband, who is not diabetic but decided to have me hook him up to my.old pump and cgm so he could better understand what I go through. My Endo was excited for him to try it and gave me a Rx for saline to use in the pump. We made it 2 days before I told/begged him to take it off because I was conditioned to pay attention to every little beep while he didn't seem to hear them. He still did very well, although every time I walked into the kitchen to him eating something I went "did you bolus for that?" And got a "CRAP!" in response.

At the end of it he stated that he felt he had a better idea of what I deal with even though it's still barely comparable to the real deal. And he also says that diabetes is a "pain in the stomach!"

Love this man even more for this! And I thought him opening apple juice for me was romantic ❤❤❤
