Natu Nest

'Oh, AZ is very smart. He is the smartest human I have ever met,' Floette said, nodding her tiny hair. Flabebe stared at Penelope with wide, grey eyes, before she waved the tiny Forget-Me-Not flowers in return. 'H-hello…' She said, getting all shy now that the other Pokemon had noticed.

'That's cool!' Penelope squeaked, running up AZ's arm and going to join the Floette and Flabebe on his head. She looked around, wide eyed. 'Wow! You can see everything up here!' She said. She spotted a red feather poking out from the long grass. 'Look! I bet that's Olive's feather!~'

"People like that… they’re easy enough to prove wrong, you know?" Wulfric chuckled as Marya went on. "And I’m sure both your Pokémon and these ones appreciate new company, anyway."

"Yeah." She laughed. "I can just show them Olive." She shrugged. "We do...we do meet other trainers and pokemon while travelling, but we don't really get a chance to just sit, relax, and play."

AZ had almost jumped at the Pokemon’s sudden movement. Well at least it didn’t seem to be afraid of him anymore? Floette blinked at that, before giggling. ‘Oh, we haven’t trained him! He just.. understands,’ she said, playing with AZ’s hair. He glanced at the rodent, before glancing around. Floette whistled to him, before starting to look around for the girl Penelope had described. ‘Oh, he bathes sometimes. It’s a lot harder for him to do that then your human, i’m sure,’ she frowned at that, looking at Penelope. Flabebe peered at the Dedenne, flicking her ears.

Penelope seemed oblivious to the fact she had totally just been rude right then. She wasn't that bright, if you could tell. "Well, he's real smart then if he understands! I had to train my human and she's smart but not as smart as him!" Her eyes went to the Flabebe as she lifted a tiny paw and waved. "Hello there!"

"Mm… yeah, they ran from me a lot when I first discovered them, too," Wulfric admitted. "But Pokémon are smart little things, and they can tell when you mean well. Letting your own Pokémon out was a great idea — it lets ‘em see you know how to treat yours right, you know?"

She began to nod. "I met someone who thought pokemon were stupid. That is seriously not true at all. Pokemon are super smart...some species are probably smarter than us humans." She paused, thinking. "Maybe my pokemon told them stories, or told them I wasn't going to hurt them." She mused, smiling at the thought. "It would be cute."

Wulfric cupped his hands as Penelope looked over at him, allowing the small Electric/Fairy Pokémon to sit in them for a few moments as he listened to Marya. Penelope squeaked happily, but she still scampered back to her trainer’s lap quickly enough.

"They were nervous when I first got here...they all ran and hid...but I didn't want them to be scared so I let my team out and sat here. I figured they would be happier playing with other pokemon...and they were! I started to eat lunch while I was watching and a Furfrou came up to me on it's own!" She said happily.
