~ Twins with pearl earrings and cube ~ My spouse @nattravn-artdid an absolutely BEAUTIFUL illustration for last years Laketober (PLEASE GO SEE IT HERE!) inspired by "The Fallen Angel" by Alexandre Cabanel. This fuelled my own want to make more pieces of oc's and game characters inspired by famous paintings. And as such this piece was born! Inspired by Johannes Vermeer's painting "Girl with a Pearl Earring". I imagine there are several art pieces depicting the Van den Bosch twins about the town of Rusty Lake: all of them with muddled artists or times they were painted. After all Rusty Lake time just can never make up its mind, so who knows how old those paintings really are? :3

~ Clara & Susan Van den Bosch ~ Meet Clara and Susan Van den Bosch, a pair of twin oc's that I made for mine and my spouses Rusty Lake RP. These are their current looks, as in the time we're playing somewhere in the 1960's - 1970's but the twins are actually old souls from as far back as the early 1800's. They were once described as curious and cleaver to a fault and perhaps that was true, for it was their curiosity that lead them down the rabbit hole of Rusty Lake and its time, that just never works as it should. In this time they keep rather low profile: Clara works as a therapist while Susan does general handiwork and upkeep of the independent theatre "Fields of barley."
