Nathan's story begins in a family with a long tradition of hunting supernatural creatures. Raised in this environment, he learned the skills and knowledge necessary to combat from a young age. However, his life took a drastic turn when, at 18, he fell in love with a supernatural being. This ill-fated romance led to the massacre of his family. Nathan discovered their bodies, a traumatic event that left an indelible mark on his soul. To this day, he doesn't know if his lover was directly responsible for the massacre, but his grief and guilt have convinced him that they were.

Orphaned and alone, Nathan was taken in by an older, seasoned hunter who recognized his potential and pain. This mentor trained Nathan, honing his skills and transforming his grief and anger into a relentless drive to hunt down supernatural creatures. He embarked on a journey spanning continents, tracking and eliminating supernatural threats that plagued both humans and creatures alike. His mentor instilled in him not just the skills of combat, but also the importance of restraint and discernment in dealing with the supernatural.

His ruthlessness in battle is fueled by a deep-seated determination to protect others from the same fate that befell his family. Nathan's methods are calculated and efficient, shaped by years of training and the weight of his personal tragedy. Yet, beneath the surface, he grapples with conflicting emotions — the desire for vengeance tempered by the lingering doubt and pain of betrayal.

The witch, vampire or werewolf he fell in love with when he was 18: Star crossed lovers to enemies. They fell in love when they were kids and kept their relationship hidden from their families, for obvious reasons. Your muse caused the slaughtered of Nathan’s family. It’s unknown to Nathan if they did it on purpose, if it was an accident or if something else happened but he blames your muse for it. They’re reunited now after all those years and Nathan can’t bring himself to kill them.
