Nathan is a 19 year old living in NYC, he lives in the watchtower,because he can't afford an apartment on his Movie theatre salary. He was a former red room assassin and part of "Wolf Spider" Program, he was given similar training and enhancements as the black widows increasing flexibility, strength, agility, eyesight and reflexes, and trained by The Winter Soldier. He was unaware the red room fell in 2016 and was still under the control of other red room operatives until April 2027, (during the events of Brave New World) he was freed by Yelena Belova.
After being freed in NYC he was completely lost, he didn't know who he was outside of his name and what he had done, he had no autonomy, no personality, no interests, he took it upon himself to become a vigilante to help people, he did this to help them but also to make up for all the pain and violence he caused, he is still a violent vigilante, killing criminals and abusers if he deems they deserve it, he does avoid it though. After being knocked out and nearly beaten to death, Bucky found him and let him sleep on his couch, Bucky became a kind of father figure to him, but he didn't recognize him as a Wolf Spider he trained, but Nathan recognized him. He stayed with Bucky until Void's attack on New York, when he moved to the watchtower and become a partial member of the New Avengers, they gave him an official suit and new weapons, he took the Alias "Wolf Spider" as a way of reclaiming himself and his newfound Autonomy.
he does work with the New Avengers occasionally but he mostly works as a Street level vigilante similar to Spidey or Daredevil, Yelena Told him about Natasha, and Nathan sees her as a role model and wants to fight a big threat to prove himself and prove to himself that he is more than a weapon.
his powers include: enhanced eyesight, flexibility, strength, agility, reflexes, Stamina, and enhanced longevity. the weapons he uses consist of two pistols he carries with him at all times, A Gerber mark ii dagger and a Gerber yari ii knife.
personality: he is sarcastic, dry, curious, very questioning, and obsessed with his newfound autonomy, buying toys and stuff and watching movies people show him, getting his ears and eyebrow peirced, simply because he can, He makes jokes about the things he went through under the Wolf Spider Program, but he never wants to actually talk about it.
