too close to the sun

You aren’t here to challenge me to jenga, are you? I already had a go at that with Avia, and I know exactly how you guys distract everyone, using your talent for poetry and what not.

Damn, you found my secret weapon. [He laughs, joking.] Nah, I just think you could use my wonderful company. 

[wraps her arms around him, still grinning] It’s like you don’t listen to me when I talk anymore.  [pulls back] I was back home in Vermont, mom wanted to see me, said that a year with only iris messaging was to long.

I really don't. Once you open your mouth it's just yapping. Was it a nice trip?

Exactly. [ She stays silent for a moment ] I just want to get out of here someday and actually have a life and money.. but I don’t want to join some mafia or become a stripper.

You should do it - go to college I mean, not the mafia or prostitute crap. 

[smiles and adjust her stance slightly. Bending her knees just a bit that it’s probably not noticeable and moving her hands to behind her back. She shrugs bringing one shoulder up and dropping it] Should I do a countdown, or do you want to leave it to fate? [smirks cause she’s enjoying the fresh adrenaline running through her veins]

[Nate doesn't want it to look like that he refuses to shoot because he doesn't have the skill so he takes a deep breath and pulls back the arrow.]

[Raises an eyebrow challenging him] I didn’t think I was the one who stuttered.

[He raises his bow, aiming his arrow at her.] You have 3 seconds to tell me you were kidding and don't want me to shoot. 

[ She lies down on his bed and closes her eyes with a light sigh. ] Are you going to college ever?

[He's a little taken aback by the question.] I.. I guess I never really thought about it. I would like to but I haven't exactly been at school..

[She rolled her eyes, not being able to hide her smile] Okay, now you’re just being an ass.  [opens her arms] Stop being a bully and hug me.

[He laughs and pulls her into a hug.] Where've you been anyways?

[Smiles, stretching her back a bit, before coming out of the position.] What can I help you with, Nate?

[He shrugs.] Nothing really, figured I would socialize a bit today.

[She smiles at his reply, shaking her head a bit; playfully really.] All right, I’ll take your word for it. [She slips some hair behind her ear.] But, next ball that camp throws, you’ll have to save me a dance, okay?

[He chuckles nod nods.] Will do.

[grins when she sees Nate, and starts walking over to him]  No need to worry anymore, your wonderful sister has safely returned to the homeland that is camp.  

[He pretends to be confused.] Really? I don't see any wonderful sister nearby. 

[Moving into a more comfortable yoga position, her eyes fluttering open to notice someone walking towards her cabin, before closing shut again.] Leave any negatives vibes you have at the bottom step, please and thank you.

Will do, will do.

You’ll never know.

That's a shame.

[She laughs, watching Nate’s dance move. She gives him an applause, smiling brightly.] That was so great, Nate. You’ve been holding out on me. [She puts her hands on her hips and sways back and forth a little bit.] You’ve got to put a little more hip action in it though.  

I've never heard that before. [He gives a wink.]

[Standing on the top of Half-Blood hill, Avia looks around before letting out a small, yet happy sigh and mumbles to herself] Welcome back, Avia.  [she starts walking down the hill towards her cabin, smiling]

[Nate was on his way to his cabin from the showers when he sees Avia and smiles.] Look who's finally back.

Well, there’s your problem. Confidence is key. [She smiles, watching him, and motions in front of herself and at him.] Let me see what you’ve got? Maybe I can teach you a move of two.

[He laughs.] Alright, why not? [He does a weird dance move that is very not impressive.]

Yes like your precious poetry. Wouldn’t want anyone to find that, Harris. Bit embarrassing, yeah?

I thought you liked it, or at least thought it wasn't half bad. 

Yeah. ‘kay. [She slowly takes off her shoes and socks, then her hoodie, and lays back on her bed.] See ya… t’night at dinner. Or t’morrow. Dunno. [She’s half-asleep already, mumbling a bit before Hypnos decides to do his job and puts her to sleep.]

[He kisses her on the forehead.] Sleep tight, Anna. [He walks out of the cabin.]
