so idk if anyone here has ever played fallout: new vegas but if you havenât all you need to know is that itâs a post-post apocalyptic rpg set in the american southwest 200+ years after the world nuked itself to hell and itâs my favorite video game of all time. iâm requesting a friend group for my girl based off the companions in the game because i love them all and i NEED this.
you donât have to have played the game or be familiar with it to take one of them!!! all these concepts are loose adaptations anyway - if you have an idea you think could fit but doesnât exactly adhere to the description, offer them up anyway (pre-made characters included!). so if youâre interested, just hmu and we can talk stuff out!!
((mid-30s to early 40s, female, bi or gay)) big fan of alcohol, being smarmy, and using the most colorful vernacular to make her point. probably traveled a bunch. makes her own alcohol sometimes - do not try it if youâre weak, itâll burn a hole right through your stomach. lois had a huge crush on her at one point and despite protests that âcassâ just wasnât looking for something serious and lois was, they hooked up once or twice. even though theyâre still friends, things are weird between them now.
((early to mid 30s, open gender, open sexuality)) too young to be so broody but what can you do. they were a law enforcement professional or something like that but some Shit went down on the job because of bad orders from their superiors and now theyâre weighed down by guilt and think the world is out to get them [[or honestly they can be guilt-ridden and brooding for any reason you can think of i donât care]]. then their friends come along like âfuck that shitâ and put a party hat on them and drag them out for drinks.
((mid-30s to early 40s, open gender, gay)) the ann perkins friend [âi am now going to drink 20 glasses of milk in ten minutes!â âno no no, you are not, because if you do that, you will die.â]. insists theyâre really quite boring and donât like to talk about themselves but thatâs only because theyâre very obviously hiding something embarrassing and/or nefarious from their past. like that a picture of them got made into a popular meme or something worse, idk.
((mid-30s, open gender, gay)) answers almost every surface question with a joke or sarcasm, but when itâs time to get real, boy do they get real. comes from a big extended family thatâs super traditional and was breaking their back over trying to convince them they needed to get with the times, and decided to say âfuck itâ and go to LA by themselves. just wants some nice clothes for their trouble.
((mid-40s to mid-50s, open gender, open sexuality)) thinks theyâre way too old to be at a crossroads in life but here they are, wondering if they should take on an exciting new career or old passion of theirs before itâs too late, or keep doing what theyâre doing for security even though their heartâs not in it. is always the one still standing and laughing at the others at the end of a night out.
((early 50s to late 60s, open gender, open sexuality)) the oldest, but certainly not the most responsible. probably recently went through Something and is coping by trying to hold on to their youth as much as they can. or maybe itâs not even that deep and theyâre just chill and like hanging out with lois and friends, idk, this is super open.
((early 30s to late 40s, open gender, open sexuality)) ok but whoâs down for my wild idea that they got amnesia a few years ago and theyâre just trying to pick themselves up and live their best new life now?? if u donât wanna be that dramatic i get it but honestly in-game heâs a robot âeyeâ who communicates in beeps and plays old west music before he shoots enemies so idk what u can make of that but im down to hear ideas.
((early to late 30s, open gender, open sexuality)) used to be sick or dealing with some sort of medical crap but now theyâre 100% (or not quite if u insist on breaking my heart) and ready 2 party and be either the one who drives everyone home or helps them when theyâre hungover. not both.
((mid 30s to early 50s, male, bi)) k heâs not part of the friend group but i didnât want to make a separate love interest request lol. BASICALLY heâs loisâs ideal ~love - good man, inside and out, really handsome, successful, talented, charismatic, seems like the type whoâd take the news of her having been in jail and shrug it off lmao. AND YET theyâre not together, because heâs dealing with his own shit (and frankly, lois isnât being direct enough and just asking him the fuck out but whatever) or any number of problems you wanna come up with. heâs SUPER OPEN though (i mean in the game heâs the leader of a gang of elvis impersonators which sounds crazy but it makes sense in context; i wonât make you incorporate some homage to it unless you want to lmao) so if you have any idea of someone who could fit dear god please tell me.
