Most of you probably don’t know him as Richard Griffiths, but rather as Harry Potter’s Uncle Vernon. Richard passed away March 28, 2013 at the young age of 65. He was a brilliant actor and a very dear friend - bless his soul and rest in peace.

I love how a band/album can represent period in your life and that every time when you listen to it you get a weird familiar feeling, as if you’re going back in time to that part of your life. 

“Yellow Teeth” is the first track to leak from Is Tropical’s new album I’m Leaving, which comes out on May 20th 2013 on Kitsuné Records. The track features additional vocals by Ellie Fletcher. Stream the lyric video below!

French pop-rockers Phoenix have just leaked the lyric video of their brand new single “Entertainment,” taken from their very anticipated fifth album Bankrupt! which is due out on April 23rd in North America via Loyauté/Glassnote. Two interesting facts about the album: it was produced with Cassius Philippe Zdar and it was mixed on the same console that Michael Jackson’s Thriller was recorded on.

Passion Pit have released the cutest and the most entertaining video we’ve seen in a long time for their infectiously catchy and sweet Gossamer single “Carried Away” on VDay. Directed by Brewer Brothers, the romcom-like creative video is a fast forward look at the highs and lows of a tight-knit but highly dysfunctional relationship between Sophia Bush and Passion Pit frontman/keyboardist Michael Angelakos.
