Posting again for my friend Arágidi. They are pouring the majority of their time and energy into caring for their community in Minnesota right now—meanwhile, their housing continues to be in jeopardy. They are one of the most compassionate and wonderful people I know, in addition to being an immensely talented artist and Native icon in their local drag scene. I could speak highly about them for paragraphs on paragraphs, but I want to keep this post short.

Any help anyone can offer would be immensely appreciated. They have a large and loving community so they’re not alone in this, but it’s a big goal and I want to do what I can to pitch in for them.

This is due this coming Friday, January 30th. Anything raised above and beyond will go to next month’s rent. It’s been a hard couple years for them—please help me take care of my friend.

The guy was saying something along the lines of "yeah hes a really nice guy. Really lovely parents; really great guy. Never had an issue with him. Clearly he had something evil inside him though."

So... its already starting. The dude's been in custody for five seconds, and people are already wholly assuming his guilt. Even a neighbour who has known him for years and voluntarily describes him as a great guy who he never had any issues with.

So: reminder that people are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Reminder that the person they have in custody right now is a SUSPECT, not the confirmed killer.

I had randomly generated 2 words, which is where “mole interest” came from. I failed to consider that by generating a new tag, it wouldn’t have had enough posts already in it to prove what I now call “the mole interest effect”.

But now it does.

In 2023, we said “fuck it” a la mythbusters and ended up doing whatever it took to get #mole interest to trend. And it did. And it happened to be September 11th that day, and we managed to get #mole interest to trend ABOVE #9/11.
