Twirling a lock of hair around his fingers, Rei leaned back in the chair, crossing his legs as he let out a low, annoyed sigh. Human parents. The worst, if you asked him. Sure, sure, normal human youngsters shouldnât go around pokinâ their heads in illegal things.
But the fact was that Rei wasnât your average teen. In fact he was the fuckinâ demon lord himself. His higness and everything. Now- his parents didnât exactly believe that, and he was caught in this awful excuse of a body for at least a few decades, so at least he should be allowed to have fun.
Getting told to stay home, and kept under close watch was not his idea of âfunâ. Neither was the fact that his younger brother had been allowed to stay out, so entertaining himself with the only slightly decent human wasnât an option either.
The night was entirely lost at this point. Only adding up to wasted grain in the hourglass that was his awful punishment. At least- until the sound of the door opening managed to catch Reis attention long enough for him to mutter out a half-hearted greeting.
Features pacifying the second his eyes landed on the face Ritsu was making. Lips quivering, as his teeth tried to hold back the shaking of his entire body. Blood stained his hands, his clothes-
He reacted before his thoughts managed to come to a logical conclusion, jumping to his feet, and instantly maneuvering himself to his human-brothers side. Reaching out to stabilize him, calling his name in a low, calming tone, as he tried to make sense of it all.
Why would Ritsu be- who had- was he hurt?
It wasnât planned, not any of this was planned. It was what he got for mixing in with the wrong group there was considered his friends, or not really. It was someone he could waste hours with listening to their wild occult stuff, maybe trying to understand whatever there was in his brother head with the same kind of weirdos.
The same he had thought tonight would be, them sitting in an random abandoned building, talking about vampires, demons and gods. It hadnât been the case, not as he arrived they was weirdly talk active, arriving down in the building basement.
The drawings there had covered the ground, white chalk forming the Sigil of Baphomet, chanting words as some girl. Which suddenly seemed way to off in her eyes, high on something. She had joined them a few times, so it wasnât a new face. Not that it had brought the young human any ease as they had tied her up. Offering a knife to him.
That they did this to summon a demon, to summon maybe even the highest lord of all the demons. That a vampire would give the sacrifice, to release the soul from the body.
Why.. Why couldnât he say no? As the blood had splattered on him, the blood flowing out on the floor, the life leaving her eyes. His head felt dizzy, the sight of the ring being covered in the blood, both from the girl and the cuts each member had placed on their wrist as extra offering.Â
His own wrist hurting from there cut forced upon him, the cold in the air as everything felt silent. A heavy feeling as the flight instinct finally kicked in. Running away, running home. That his body knew the ways of alleys so no one would have to seem him like this.
Adrenaline making the hair rise on his arms as he finally closed the door behind him, the sight meeting with the scarlet eyes of his brother.
He wanted to cry to do something. His knees gave out under him as he grabbed tightly to the older shirt. The younger nocturnal gasping for air, to be able to make sound leave him. But Nothing came out, other than pathetic sobs
